Please PRINT and READ the following explanation while downloading WinDi FreeWare!

Here is how to download WINDIFRE.EXE (3.5 MBytes) and
install the WinDi software (Stand-Alone '1 PC' or LAN version):
You must follow each step exactly to insure that WinDi will be properly
installed and function correctly!

This is strongly recommended if you plan to install WinDi FreeWare in your LAN...

1. You must save WINDIFRE.EXE (do not execute it!) when you start the download with your browser!
2. Put it in a directory of your choice (ex: C:\TEMP).
3. The WinDi FreeWare installation runs under Windows. To start the installation, go to the directory where WINDIFRE.EXE is located by using Windows Explorer, for example, and click on the WINDIFRE icon. Installation will then begin. Then, follow the instructions on screen. If you select a directory different from the default one (C:\WINDI), please use ONLY a directory name with 8 characters maximum. Please note that you can install this WinDi version on a 'virtual' drive (LAN/Workgroup drive).
4. Carefully read the different screens that appear, and answer the questions (your name/organization name, etc) when you are asked to.
5. In the event of downloading problems, you can try to download WinDi FreeWare again by using the same process.

Please note it is not possible for us to give the users of this version technical support by phone or by fax, because this version is free. The only way to describe any problems that might arise in this version is to send us a 'Problem Report' by E-Mail.

Download WINDIFRE.EXE now ONLY if you have read and irrevocably approved all WinDi FreeWare License terms!
