What do these services offer you ?:
These services give you access to 21 bilingual dictionaries (42 possible directions) and 7 spelling dictionaries. You will also have access to conjugation of all verbs contained in all these dictionaries and this at all tenses. Grammar (for adjectives and nouns) is also provided to help you concerning agreements in gender and number (including German declensions). The WinDi Dictionaries contain about 42,500 root words per language. However, thanks to the conjugation and grammar functions, the available number of words and examples of use totals about 3,350,000 per language. This means that a total of 23,500,000 words/examples of use (in 7 languages) are brought to you instantly through this On-Line service. Additionally, when you take into account the 'grammatical variants' which allow you to create subjects or complements, you actually have instant access to billions of combinations. Our servers feature high-performance linguistic algorithms allowing to retrieve a large amount of linguistic cases including irregular forms, these functions will help you as completely as possible in your everyday work.

When you access the dictionaries, you can enter 1 up to 20 words, which means that you can enter a complete sentence. In all cases, our linguistic servers will show you the grammatical items contained in your entry. This feature is very interesting for teachers who want to explain to their students the grammar of a given language, for example. Anyway, translating or writing texts without knowing anything about grammar or conjugation would inevitably bring mistranslations or spelling mistakes. So, these services are very useful for everyone !

Advantages of these services:
First of all, in order to use these services, you only need an Internet Browser ! There is NO need to install any software, plug-ins or whatever. You won't have to take care of WinDi updates (because we will do them for you on our WEB server). The compatibility with these services is guaranteed as long as your system/computer supports an Internet Browser. There will be NO hardware/software problems or Operating Systems trouble... However, we have developed a user-friendly program for Microsoft Windows users, it will ease your connection to our services among other functions. This program can be freely downloaded and it is NOT mandatory to access these services. In short, these services are open to anyone having an Internet access.

Moreover, the price of these services is very attractive in comparison with the purchase of printed dictionaries and linguistic books that must be replaced regularly because languages evolve (and the paper gets damaged)! By subscribing to these services, you will get access to a large collection of linguistic resources.

Explanations:
All subscriptions are valid for 1 year except for "micropayment by telephone", in this case the subscription is valid for 3 months. Each subscription allows a maximum number of consultations (depending on the subscription you have chosen). In the case of "micropayment by telephone", the number of consultations is limited to 500 over 3 months. A 'consultation' is a request containing 1 up to 10 words: you can enter either a single word or a sentence in order to catch its meaning easily. Syntax or request errors and 'word(s) not found' are NOT regarded as a consultation (ONLY successful consultations will decrease the number of remaining requests). If you have used all of your 'consultation credits' before the end of your subscription, you can take out a new subscription. Any 'consultation credits' not used after the end of your subscription cannot be recovered. The Conjugation and Grammar features are provided for free !

Special linguistic features and requirements:
When you enter one or several words (10 words max.) in this page, don't forget to select the source and the target languages before submitting your request to our server. Enter your request and the WinDi WEB - Dictionary will display all entries found in the multilingual dictionaries.
Do not forget when entering one or several words to spell them correctly. If there is a spelling mistake, the software either will not find the translation of the word(s) or will find words other than the ones you wished to translate.
